As the earliest version of this group's "Dad," it has been a pleasure to watch as that title is passed on to someone who actually is one. Brandon Smith welcomed his daughter, Vivian, into the world at the beginning of the year, and we all have been so pleased to watch that young family start and grow together.
With that being said, BRO WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING TO ALL OF US JUST CHILL OUT PLEASE!
Phew.. sorry, just had to get that off my chest.
Smith's Naberhood Watch has very quickly blossomed into one of the premier teams in the league through five weeks, and might actually be the odds on favorite to win the title this year. He was slowed briefly by not having first-round pick Puka Nacua available early, but now this train is rumbling down the tracks and you better just get out of the way.
The Egyptian Suns were this week's sacrificial lamb that would look to end their three-game losing streak by slinging their stone David-style to knock off this fantasy Goliath.

Unfortunately for the Suns, this would not be the fairy-tale story that they would hope it would be. Between key players being on bye, a few out due to injury, and some mid-game injuries as well, this was never going to be a fair fight.
The team from Egypt received 15 points or more from two players this week, and less than 10 from four others. It's always going to be a tough week when Dameon Pierce and Luther Burden are leading the charge.
Saquon Barkley was unavailable this week after yet another injury, and Davante Adams suffered a blown hamstring, landing him on IR for the foreseeable future. With these key pieces unreliable going forward, Amir will really need to think about how he can salvage some of this season.
The Naberhood saw this turmoil on the opposing side and took absolutely no prisoners. Just to put into perspective how dominant Smith's week was, his kicker outscored the top performer from the Suns - his kicker.
Tyler was "Shoughing" that thing in New York and combined with Kenneth Walker for nearly 55 points. toss in #1 TE Isaiah Likely topping 20 points for the third time this season, and this thing was over before it ever began.

Now here we are. After five weeks we officially have a top ranked team out of the blood line. The Naberhood Watch now stands atop the rankings for the first time this season and hold a 5-1 record while scoring 149 points per game.
After losing a tight Week 3 matchup to the Racers, this team has been on a warpath looking for retribution. We have all heard them loud and clear, and they sit atop the mountain at long last.
Can they hold the summit? Will someone finally find a way to bring this juggernaut back down to earth?
Only time will tell. But for now, the rest of the league has one very important lesson to learn: Daddy's home.
